Insulation Facts:
Most insulation products are assigned an "R-Value".
R-Value means resistance to heat flow.
The higher the R-Value the better insulating power a product has.
The current code for new construction and state recommendation for pre-existing home R-Values are:
R-21 in exterior walls and
R-49 in attic ceilings.
The Consumers Energy and Semco Energy residential utility rebates have been extended into 2020!
